Congratulations East Paulding Raiders
The East Paulding Raiders are the 2007 Region 5 - AAAA Champions! They have moved on to the AAAA Quarter Final Round with a 12-0 record! Congratulations to the following players from our subdivision: #13 - Stuart Smith, #37 - Korey "Kirsch" Kirschner, #96 - Stephen Cummins. GO RAIDERS!

Giants Win the Shetland 2007 Spring Season Tournament
October 22, 2006: Senators Ridge's Fall Festival
The 2006 Fall Festival was a BLAST! We had children and adults out on the dance floor doing the Cha Cha and the Monster Mash. It was so much fun!!
Thank you to everyone for coming and joining in the festivities. I wanted to also pay special thanks to the following people, without their help this event would not have been possible: Megan Crayne - Thank you for devoting so much of your time in planning the event and making sure it was fun for all. It was truly a pleasure working with you in the preparation, planning and execution of such a marvelous neighborhood fellowship. Also: Nick Crayne, Brayden Burgener, Brandon Burgener, Meghan Burgener, Lisa Higdon, Lisa Venger, Leeanne McCutcheon, Debi Fuller, Claudia Fuller, Sherry Thomas Diana Burlison, Ashley Shelley, Craig Shelley, Julie Jones, Kristy Leischow, Steve Leischow, Tammy Spencer, Nik Spencer, Nicholas Spencer, Zachary Spencer Vincent Kayla (great helper with ensuring everyone received their prizes), Grace Eckert, Haley Eckert, and Lauren Eckert. I apologize if I have missed anyone.
I do extend my sincere thanks to everyone in attendance because there were so many great neighbors who were willing to assist with the set up, volunteering for the events, judging of the contests, and in the clean up.

Marisol Griffiths will be on Discovery Channel
Our 5 years old daughter, Marisol, was chosen for a Discovery Channel documentary. Shine Television was looking for "The Most Frog-Crazy Kid in the U.S." for this story and found Marisol. They will be here to film at our home and at Shelton Elementary next week. The show will air at the beginning of the new year.

July 29, 2006: Senators Ridge's Kindergarten Social
All the children at this event will be attending kindergarten at Shelton this school year. This event was organized by Karleen Skowronski for the purpose of having our children meet and make new friends that they might see in their class. Big thanks go to Karleen for all her time and effort in making this a fun time for the children.

Nemo Raffle at Pool
Sydney Smithwick won the Nemo that was raffled off at the pool this weekend. The winning ticket was pulled by Blake Thomas at the pool in front of the store. We look forward to seeing Sydney and Nemo around the pool.

Once again, congratulations go to the Senator's Ridge Men's Softball team!
The team participated in the Cartersville spring/summer season and finished in second place with an impressive 11 and 3 record. By finishing in one of the top two spots in their division, the team has been invited to participate in the upcoming district tournament in Rome, Georgia. The team had a lot of new faces that played well together.
Best of Luck in the district tournament!

Congratulations to the Senators Ridge Tennis Team!
On May 21,2006 they became the ALTA Sunday Women's City Champions. Needless to say everyone was excited at the game. We have worked very hard through the seasons since we started this team to get to this point. We have all had a lot of fun and created great friendships along the way. This just validates all our hard work. Thank you to all the players for a great job!

April 21, 2006: Easter Egg Hunt 2006
Everyone had such a great time at this year's egg hunt. Children bounced around in the Astro Jumps, made crafts, got their face painted, played games, and of course hunted for eggs. As always, there was a ton of delicious food and fun company.
I want to thank the committee for all their long hours spent making this event happen. Special thanks to Debbie Fuller, Lisa Venger, Diana Burlison, Kuniko Decker, and Dianne Dunn because without the committee helping, my job would have been much harder.
I also want to thank the volunteers that helped on the day of the event: Ryan Stout, Diane Pike, Brandon Burgener, Megan Crayne, Letty Stout, Sara Slavik, Katie Slavik, Deborah Roberts, Melinda Watts, Chelsea Adamczyk, Cindy Burgener, Sam Venger, Craig Shelley, Derker Fuller, Frank Eunice, Alvin Eubanks, Amy Eunice, Holly Griggs, Fred Juliet, Ashley Shelley, and Jamie Harmer because without their help this event would not have been a success. I am blessed to have such caring neighbors.
Big thanks go to our web master, Slava Slavik, for such great pictures. Check out picture number 106 this lucky girl found the big bucks for the night hunt $15.00.
